If you would like to get involved,

we certainly can use your help! Please choose to make the difference in the life of another. We have various volunteer opportunities.....Anything you can do to lend us a hand would be very much appreciated!

Our Mission is to rescue, provide sanctuary, and ultimately to re-home abandoned, stray and neglected dogs...(and yes...the occasional cat too.). Whenever possible we also assist pets who, because of extenuating circumstances, are unable to remain in their homes with their owners

Canine Connections Dogs are evaluated for temperament and personality. This helps us to place them in homes that are well suited to their needs and to the needs of their future owners. If you are looking for a specific type of dog and do not see it on our website, please email us. We work closely with other rescue groups and animal shelters and may be able to assist you in finding your next furry friend.

Volunteers are the backbone of any nonprofit organization and ours is no exception. Our rescue is run by folks who generously volunteer their time, homes and hearts in order to reduce the staggering numbers of unnecessary authorization of otherwise healthy lovable animals.

Our Foster Care program provides these animals with a safe, healthy "place to be" until loving forever homes can be found for them. 100% of your donations help make this possible. But we can't do it without your support. Many volunteers are needed to continue our mission

What we do...

Our goal is to help dogs that have been abandoned, abused or neglected. We assist pet owners in re-homing their animals by helping them to find a responsible loving forever home in which to place them.

We place emphases on education of Spaying & Neutering, and responsible pet ownership; we also wish to educate our young people with the hope of curving the rate at which our canine companions are being euthanized
